Design

To begin the package engineering process, send us your product as you pack it today. Our Package Engineers will create a custom pack design for your product using PadPak®, FillPak® or WrapPak® paper options. We will send the product back to you along with a report detailing the packaging process with images, as well as a cost analysis of the package. Download a sample report (Adobe PDF document).

Analysis

By analyzing your current packaging and benchmarking it against our design, Ranpak ensures that you are receiving the best possible package design for your product. This may also include performance testing/analysis, estimated cost of current packaging materials and new box specifications, if necessary.

Training

Packaging Engineers

Ranpak's Package Engineers and Sales Representatives can visit your facility to help train your packers on using our products or to perform an on-site cost analysis.

Testing

Our Package Engineers work in our International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) certified laboratory, conducting tests to ensure that the package design being tested will perform well in your distribution environment. As one of only 300 ISTA certified labs in North America, Ranpak's laboratory has proven expertise in packaging and is equipped to conduct ISTA package performance tests.

Our ISTA certified lab features a drop tester and a vibration table, as well as other sophisticated equipment designed to ensure that the packaging design being tested meets your needs and carrier requirements.
